Desiderio Murcho obtained his first degree in philosophy from the University of Lisbon, as well as his Master's. He is now reading for his PhD in Philosophy at King's College London, specializing in the metaphysics of modality. Co-editor of a philosophy series being published in Portugal, he's also co-author of a Portuguese philosophy textbook for high school, and has translated several philosophy books to Portuguese, including Thomas Nagel's The Last Word and W.H. Newton-Smith's Logic. He is also executive editor of Disputatio (http://disputatio.tripod.com), and editor of Critica (http://critica.no.sapo.pt).
