Frederick Kroon obtained his PhD from Princeton University in 1980, and teaches Philosophy at the University of Auckland. He has written on the theory of reference, realism, rationality, computability theory, and the ontology of fiction, and is on the editorial board of the Australian Journal of Philosophy and the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy. He is a founding member and now HP of ARF.
